Quake Live is the Steam client only. Buy / install it, then Browse Servers in-game or paste an IP from the SERVERS hall. Copy IP — we do not launch the client for you.

Workshop maps install automatically when you join a factory that needs them. Browse the WORKSHOP hall to subscribe from Steam. minqlx is for operators, not players. PQL vs VQL is a server ruleset, not a second install.
